Again. Over and over and over and over again, the same old refrain from President Marshmallow:
"With its ruling today, the Supreme Court has given a green light to a new stampede of special interest money in our politics," said President Obama in a statement. "It is a major victory for big oil, Wall Street banks, health insurance companies and the other powerful interests that marshal their power every day in Washington to drown out the voices of everyday Americans... That's why I am instructing my Administration to get to work immediately with Congress on this issue. We are going to talk with bipartisan Congressional leaders to develop a forceful response to this decision."

Yeah. That'll work. The Supreme Court just handed government over to the highest bidder, and you think REPUBLICANS are going to work with you to develop "a forceful response to this decision"? Republicans have historically been the primary beneficiaries of truckloads of corporate cash, with Democrats settling for the scraps. That idiot Boehner could barely contain his glee yesterday at the decision. And you think that the very same Republicans who think you're a Marxist Maoist Fascist Kenyan Islamic Terrorist are going to sit down with you and derail this gravy train?

Jesus H. Christ.

Every day of the Bush administration after 9/11 brought some more Machiavellian revelation than the day before, and every day I was shocked by America's transformation. It gets old. But this is absolutely shocking. One hundred forty years of decided law: out Scalia's window, and how is this not simply evil?
