Friday Alan Grayson Blogging
Posted by Jill | 6:27 AM
Alan Grayson schools Rep. Paul Broun of Georgia, a man in the United States government who is ignorant about the very Constitution he's sworn to uphold, about what's in that document:

It's frightening that Republicans who know absolutely nothing about the Constitution are allowed to create law in this country.

Broun knows what a "bill of attainder" is, he just thinks that stripping ACORN of its funding is not punitive. It is justice because they are inept, corrupt, stupid, evil and banal. Of course, on that basis the Republican Party should be stripped of its funding.

Jay,

We should strip the funding from ALL entities that meet your criteria, but that would leave very few if any supping at the public trough.

Won't happen, but we can hope!!!

I have said it before and I will say it again, before anyone is allowed to run for public office they should have to pass a high school level United States History and Civics test. If they do not pass it then they are not allowed to run. They can try and try again (like passing the bar) but until they do they are not eligible to run for federal office period.

I'm all about the Grayson, but here he absolutely did not school the gentleman from Georgia, who very capably fielded Grayson's quite argumentative questions. Grayson feels strongly about the issue at hand, and brings a lot of passion to the debate, but this is not a great example of him catching someone out or exposing a fraud.
