I've had enough of this guy too:
Sources have told WRAL News that they expect former U.S. Sen. John Edwards to admit that he is the father of his former mistress' 18-month-old daughter.

Edwards, a two-time Democratic presidential candidate, confessed last August to having an affair with Rielle Hunter, who served as a videographer on Edwards' 2008 campaign. He has denied fathering her daughter, saying his relationship with Hunter ended before the child was conceived.

The name of the girl's father isn't disclosed on her birth certificate.

Andrew Young, a long-time Edwards aide, initially claimed to be the father of Hunter's child, but he is reportedly writing a book in which he will claim Edwards is the father.

A federal grand jury is investigating whether Edwards' campaign funds were illegally paid to Hunter to keep quiet about the affair.

Hunter spent nine hours last Thursday at the federal courthouse in Raleigh, where the grand jury was meeting. She brought her daughter, Frances, with her.

Young was at the federal courthouse in July when the grand jury was meeting.

Sources said Edwards' public admission could come before the end of the criminal investigation.

Let's lance this boil once and for all and then let John Edwards disappear into private life. For good. Enough already with this.

1. Is this an attempt to have a second act in an American life? Because it's making Moose Murders and Carrie both look like high dramaturgy.

2. Doesn't Mr. Edwards have to join the Republican Party now? It seems to be a natural fit for him.

3. They were both adults in the 21st century; had neither of them heard of birth control?

Don't get me started.

Oh, wait...

Im sorry to say that this is probably the first step to his comeback...
if Elizabeth should happen to pass sooner rather than later then he'll be back sooner. But if he had told the truth from the beginning all of this would be moot. They have both acted so strangely about this child, and it was obvious that it was his.

She is strangely disconnected about it, as if it doesn't affect her children, and he is so blase, as if this happens all the time( which it does in his business)
and that they decided to cover it up together rather than getting the hell out of the race that moment is questionable at best...

I like him and I like his message, but this has been handled so badly that I cant fathom what anyone around him is thinking; they seem pretty delusional, he and Elizabeth.

I completely accept and expect politicians to act this way, and there was much worse he could have done, and who knows if he didn't, but the trickle of information is absolutely painful at this point...and I'm done! I'm also done with her and her books, not mentioning the woman's name, and calling the baby "it."
This is the sibling of her children and like it or not, she has to live with it...because it's not the kid's fault.

Whose hypocrisy are we talking about? His or ours?
