A new design...someday

Now that I've gotten more comfortable navigating my way around the blogger templates, it's time for a redesign. I appreciate whoever started this simple-yet-elegant template, but I really want to branch out on my own. I'm a frickin' web developer, for crissake, you'd think I could do a template.

Obviously I'm swamped right now, and since my contractor came over and finally pulled the ugly 1970's paneling off the lovely plaster walls in my living room and stairway, I now have tons of 30-year-old wood glue to scrape off the walls and priming and painting to do -- in addition to the 4 other rooms that need painting in the aftermath of new windows being installed and the kitchen cabinets that are going to be refaced. And since I am the family handyman, these tasks not done reproach me daily.

You'll know that sanity has been restored to my life when you see a new Arts and Crafts-style template on this here site.

But don't hold your breath or you might pass out waiting.
