And the hits just keep on coming.

In Nashville, a racist teabagger nutball rams a car simply because it has an Obama bumper sticker:
A Nashville man says he and his 10-year-old daughter were victims of road rage Thursday afternoon, all because of a political bumper sticker on his car.

Mark Duren told News 2 the incident happened around 4:30p.m., while he was driving on Blair Boulevard, not far from Belmont University.

He said Harry Weisiger gave him the bird and rammed into his vehicle, after noticing an Obama-Biden sticker on his car bumper.

Duren had just picked up his 10-year-old daughter from school and had her in the car with him.

"He pointed at the back of my car," Duren said, "the bumper, flipped me off, one finger salute."

But it didn't end there.

Duren told News 2 that Weisiger honked his horn at him for awhile, as Duren stopped at a stop sign.

Once he started driving again, down Blair Boulevard, towards his home, he said, "I looked in the rear view mirror again, and this same SUV was speeding, flying up behind me, bumped me."

Duren said he applied his brake and the SUV smashed into the back of his car.

He then put his car in park to take care of the accident, but Weisiger started pushing the car using his SUV.

Duren said, "He pushed my car up towards the sidewalk, almost onto the sidewalk."

Police say Harry Weisiger is charged with felony reckless endangerment in the incident.

Weisiger insists he was just trying to get around the other car, but eyewitness accounts say otherwise. (h/t)

Right-wing nutball Ted Nugent says:
communist, Mao, Che agenda of the communist, Mao, Che fans in the White House. They’re pigs, Neil! We gotta kill the pig.

Buried in this article about anti-government militia nutball Mike Vanderboegh, who called for the vandalism of offices of Democratic legislators who voted for health care, is the fact that Vanderboegh lives on a government disability check. Your tax dollars at work, folks.

Digby draws some parallels between Eric Cantor's objection to Democrats reporting on what happens to them and child abusers who say that if the child wasn't so bad daddy wouldn't have to beat them senseless.

Skippy has some truly fine patented, A-1 prime Teabagger Stoopid to show you. And links to this guy, who nails it.

Who'd a-thunk that Bloomberg News was capable of this kind of snark:

Tea Party Advocates Who Scorn Socialism Want a Government Job

Tea Party activists, who are becoming a force in U.S. politics, want the federal government out of their lives except when it comes to creating jobs.

More than 90 percent of Tea Party backers interviewed in a new Bloomberg National Poll say the U.S. is verging more toward socialism than capitalism, the federal government is trying to control too many aspects of private life and more decisions should be made at the state level.

At the same time, 70 percent of those who sympathize with the Tea Party, which organized protests this week against President Barack Obama’s health-care overhaul, want a federal government that fosters job creation.

And speaking of snark....finally, because Eric Cantor is just too delicious a target not to hammer mercilessly, we go to none other than Alex Pareene at Gawker, with the best headline about the whole mess, and the money quote of the day:
It's the pissed-off raging teabaggers who are furious with the Republicans right now, for failing to stop the thing they promised they would stop.

But we are not even going to blame some stupid Teabagger for shooting Eric Cantor's office. Because no one gives a shit about Eric Cantor. No one is shooting him or threatening him. He is just another asshole.

They really can't have it both ways with us. Either we're utter wusses the way they always say we are, or we're gun-totin' mouth-frothin' lunatics like they are. And besides, everyone knows that what we dirty fucking hippies do is more like this.

Oh, and while you're at it? Go read Beth Arnold.

And yup, here's another one.

But Mr Vanderboegh has an excellent reason for accepting disability. He likens himself to a guerrilla fighter, using the enemies own resources to defeat him. One does wonder, though, after he and his kind succeed in overthrowing the false government, how he then plans on supporting himself? If there are no more government 'handouts', will he then have to find a real job? Perhaps he plans on securing a cushy job with the 'new' government.
What I'd really like to ask these wingnuts is: what do you plan on doing with people like me? What happens to those who dissent with your new world order? I think we need to pin them down to some specifics, and then present these specifics to the 'silent' majority. Make them realize that, unless we speak up, and silence these louts with a reasonable voice, we are all in danger.
