Perhaps this is why they deliberately wrecked the economy

It is actually kind of brilliant, in a nefarious sort of way. This way the breakdown of society can happen on Obama's watch and the Bush Junta's hands get to stay clean:
A U.S. Army War College report warns an economic crisis in the United States could lead to massive civil unrest and the need to call on the military to restore order.

Retired Army Lt. Col. Nathan Freir wrote the report "Known Unknowns: Unconventional Strategic Shocks in Defense Strategy Development," which the Army think tank in Carlisle, Pa., recently released.

"Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities ... to defend basic domestic order and human security," the report said, in case of "unforeseen economic collapse," "pervasive public health emergencies," and "catastrophic natural and human disasters," among other possible crises.

The report also suggests the new (Barack Obama) administration could face a "strategic shock" within the first eight months in office.

Fort Bliss spokeswoman Jean Offutt said the Army post is not involved in any recent talks about a potential military response to civil unrest.

arlier this year, Pentagon officials said as many as 20,000 soldiers under the U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) will be trained within the next three years to work with civilian law enforcement in homeland security.

Joint Task Force-North, a joint command at Biggs Army Airfield, which conducts surveillance and intelligence along the border, comes under NORTHCOM. No one was available at JTF-North to comment on the Army War College's report. NORTHCOM was created after the 9-11 attacks to coordinate homeland security efforts.


So watch for the black helicopter/militia crowd to get back in action. After all, it seems to be that for these folks, mass wiretapping of Americans, scooping up all their electronic correspondence, and training the military to patrol the streets here at home is all perfectly OK to this bunch -- as long as the president is Republican.

The destruction of the United States has been a long time plan. The Bush family has their fingers in it big time. Go back to W's grandfather Prescott Bush, who as a banker, funded Hitler and thought he was a great guy. He was also involved with a group of wealthy men who tried to overthrow FDR for being sympathetic to the poor and middle classes instead of the wealthy. Geo. H.W. Bush was involved with the CIA back in the late 50's early 6o's even though he denies it. There is a photo of him at Dealey Plaza in Dallas on the day the JFK was assasinated. Then he was named CIA director, and he became Vice Prez and involved in Iran-Contra gate among other things. How likely is it that the alcoholic, drug addicted n'er do well son would become President after his father? And yet they got what they were after - steal as much money from the treasury and the taxpayers as possible, transfer it into their and their friend's hands and consolidate the wealth among the top players all over the world. Kissinger spoke recently about how this economic crisis was an opportunity to dissolve borders and go toward a more global world order. Hmmm....world order....where have you heard that before?/
Why do you think Bush has a ranch in Paraguay and Cheney has a house in Dubai. They are so patriotic...umm...how?

Oh, my. The mind simply boggles at the potential ripostes to such lame brained conspiratorial idiocy.

I'm certain that the Bush clan actually was a part of a vast, right-wing conspiracy to kill Kennedy, and to deny all of America the wonderful Golden Age which would have come from an extended JFK/RFK/TK monarchy.

All the world's problems are a part of this small, evil cabal, which, of course, none of us have any actual direct evidence of.
