People who say it's selfish to choose not to have children should be beaten with sticks

We've all heard about celebrity baby names, like Nicolas Cage's son Kal-El, and Gwyneth Paltrow's Apple. I remember when China Kantner was a baby named lower-case-g god, and Barbara Hershey's son Free who later changed his name to Tom. But sometimes naming constitutes child abuse. And in terms of being selfish, this takes the, uh, cake:
THE father of a toddler called Adolf Hitler Campbell says it is unfair that a store denied him a birthday cake with his child's name on it.

New Jersey man Heath Campbell, 35, has decorated his home with swastikas and says he is related to a member of the SS.

But he says it is the store that wouldn't write "Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler" on a cake that should be showing more consideration for other people's feelings.

"They need to accept a name. A name's a name. The kid isn't going to grow up and do what (Hitler) did," he told the Associated Press.

But the ShopRite store that refused the cake request says it did the right thing.

"We believe the request ... to inscribe a birthday wish to Adolf Hitler is inappropriate," spokeswoman Karen Meleta told the Express-Times newspaper.

The store has also refused to make a cake bearing the name of Mr Campbell's daughter, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, who turns two in February.

Mr Campbell and his wife Deborah also have a daughter Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, named for SS head Heinrich Himmler, who turns one in April.

He said he named his son after Adolf Hitler because he liked the name and because "no one else in the world would have that name".

Perhaps one day they will also reject the name 'George Bush' as being inappropriate on a birthday cake.

I read some coverage of this story this morning. Funny how the parents want to claim the names are harmless and mean nothing. Well, then, why use those names? Didn't they, in fact, choose those names specifically to make a point?

I always thought George Foreman was the top of the selfish list naming all his kids after himself. How much more self-centered can you get?

This father is just down right cruel, insecure and self-centered. The mother does not get any prizes for actually looking out for her kids. What crappy parents.

George Foreman, who must be another infected victim in the seeming epidemic of narcissism out there, claims to have named his kids after himself to give them a sense of self...er...I suppose thats not individuality, huh?
Free Carradine was named with the idea that he would change his name if he wanted...the rest, I don't know, but Frank Zappa's kids seem to have embraced their names.

This Adolph Hitler thing is child abuse. I think that these folks have put a red flag on their folder down at the department of family services, so they had better cross their T's and doe their I's with those kids.
Its probably the worst time in history to label yourself a white supremacist. I doubt that the vast majority of Americans have any patience at all for this behavior.
Lets hope that these bugs squish themselves, and that their kids end up in better circumstances before they have to go through getting beat up in school every day.
