Caligula Puts On Another Costume
Posted by Jill | 11:29 AM

Fearless Leader sure does love to put on those military costumes, doesn't he? Digby gives us a fashion show of similar leaders of theomilitary cults who also enjoy dressing up in quasi-military drag.

Meanwhile, Rummy gets confused between the troops and the Washington Press Corps, bitchslapping a guy who just wants to know why they're scavenging for body armor while Rummy's friends are getting big tax cuts.

Damn kids. Don't they know that they're just fuel to be burnt for the empire machine?

Hey, remember when Bush was blasting John Kerry for not voting for the $87 billion that was supposed to provide body armor for these guys? So where DID that money go, anyway? Arent' you glad you voted for the guys who support the troops? As for me, I'm gonna go send another USO care package. I try to do this at least once a month. Of course, sending actual things a soldier might need doesn't count as supporting the troops...not as much as buying a $5.00 ribbon magnet at the BP station quickie mart would. Now that's REAL patriotism.
