Rachel Maddow reports this morning that when she went to Factcheck.com last night as soon as Dick Cheney told everyone to go there (the site he was referring to is actually factcheck.org), it pointed to a domain "parking lot" site called Munky.com. Munky is one of those sites that tries to make itself your home page, and you can buy domains from them.
Obviously George Soros was watching the debate, went to Factcheck.com, saw where it went and bought up the domain immediately, which makes him my Web Guerilla of the day.
UPDATE:
According to Chris Suellentrop at Slate.com, it was the company that originally owned the "factcheck.com" domain name, Name Administration Inc., that redirected the traffic to the Soros page. Either way, props to whoever did it.
