Blogrolling in our time: Utterly Shameless Self-Promotion Edition
Posted by Jill | 11:43 AM
I need another blog like I need a second navel, but since I can't get that Trader Joe By Way Of Antonio Carlos Jobim tune out of my head, and after making those tortellini last week, I decided that Trader Joe's cultists need a place to call home.

Behold the Disciples of Joe.

Come on over and share recipes, experiences, product reviews, and All Things Trader Joe's.

Heh. My Trader Joe's is within walking distance, and I go every couple of days. Love the pasta.

Trader Joes is a joke. I am chemically sensitive to an incredible degree. Their food, which I have tried is definitely NOT
chemically free. You grow food on land that has been poisoned with 80 years of pesticide and herbicides, the plants are contaminated, idiots, one to ten years of organic gardening will NOT change that.

I live somewhere where the peasants can not afford chemicals or genetically engineered food. It was in the field yesterday and it is in me today. Voila, no gut aches, muscle cramps or screaming headaches. Thank Dow and Dupont for poisoning you and your kids.

When I was in school fifty years ago, we DID not have ADD, now 7-14 per cent of school children have it. It is the damn chemicals. Wake up or destroy your genes.

I have been lucky enough to have TJ's in my life and sphere for maybe 25 years now. As food goes, they actually have a lot of the healthier options you can find. I often read ingredients and notice that you don't find as much MSG and HFCS in their products.
