For over thirty years, my mantra has been "The Post is not a newspaper" Except for the day Isaac Asimov died, I have not touched a Post. (Subway recycling.) I have not bought it since 1976. I would not, without corroboration, accept anything in its pages as fact.
(The Post used to be a liberal paper; the Daily News was the far-right rag. Last time I was on that side of the country I noticed that the Snooze is practically conservative/center, and they've finally deep-sixed Dick Tracy. Also, Mike Lupica is looking his age.)
And yes, I know there aren't enough newspaper choices in New York.

(Mosley, know, is the son of British Fascist leader Sir Oswald Mosley.)
