American Brownshirts: Long Island edition
Posted by Jill | 9:04 AM
Not that I ENJOY linking to a diary at Le Grand Orange, but read this account of the response by Faux Noise how one American citizen was threatened by the programming director of WABC radio in New York, who tried to have him arrested after he dared offer to join the military if Mark Levin would too.

This is the America offered by the denizens of Wingnuttia -- one in which asking a question of a right-wing talk show host is "creating a disturbance" and where disagreeing with the policies of a right-wing president means that people who give lip service to freedom cheer as you're led outside of a public bookstore by police. Somehow I suspect that if said police weren't in a place like New York, this diarist would be subject to far less gentle tretment.
