We know that the Bush Administration has performed surveillance activities on
PETA,
Quaker peace groups, and
Greenpeace -- all groups in opposition to his politics. Apparently he believes these to be terrorist groups.
Funny, then, that
when death threats are directed at an NBC station manager over the series The Book of Daniel, the Bush Administration isn't at all concerned.
The American Family Association has called its members to action over this series. Presumably these death threats are related to said "calls to action." It's pretty clear that the Bush Administration only regards as terrorism thoughtcrimes against his administration's policy. Actual threats to violence, if directed at said critics, is A-OK with them.
