Remember...taking contributions from groups, even if linked to Abramoff, is not illegal. Taking contributions in a
quid pro quo for official actions IS illegal. The former is what the few Democrats whose names have been mentioned in conjunction with the Abramoff scandal have done. The latter is what Bob Ney and other Republicans have done.
The Mighty Wurlitzer is going to be hammering at the "bipartisan scandal" and "bad apples" memes for the next couple of days. It's up to us to set the record straight.
And while we're at it, note to Democrats: If you lie with dogs, you get fleas.
