Check out this video from MSNBC last night. It's Norah O'Donnell interviewing former FBI whistleblower Coleen Rowley, and wingnut asshole Mark Williams, whose "You Don't Speak For Me Cindy" tour has been set up in Crawford. O'Donnell refers to the Camp Casey demonstrators as "extremists", then lobs softballs at Williams, who brings out the old wingnut canard that the demonstrators, many of whom are veterans, are aiding and abetting, and my particular favorite -- that THEY know what Cindy Sheehan's son would have thought, when they never met him and never gave a shit about him.
It's as repulsive a piece of television so-called "journalism" I've seen outside of Fox News...and God knows we've seen a lot of this sort of thing over the last five years.
Somehow I think that when it was Bill Clinton sending troops to Kosovo, Williams wasn't out there advocating mindless support for Presidential policies.
UPDATE:
Sadly, No points us to Williams' wife's shameless exploitation of Casey Sheehan's name in her web site (to which I refuse to link) for her bogus "charitable" organization, using the completely unrelated image of their DOG named Casey.
It's a cheap, slapped-together thing in which everything is under construction. I guess they figure this way Google searches for "Mark Williams" and "Casey" will bring it up first.
These people have no shame. Absolutely none.
