Orcinis covers a number of incidents of attempted intimidation of Democratic voters, ranging from theft of lawn signs to paintball attacks on residences to some of the most vile hate mail you'll ever see.

I wonder why these people are so threatened by those who disagree with them. Perhaps they're afraid if they started to think instead of just marching in lockstep, they'd have to admit what an empty suit they've been worshipping for three and a half years, and what a clusterfuck he's turned not just Iraq, but also this country into?

I don't even have a Kerry sticker on my car. I don't dare. I live in a nice suburban neighborhood where my house was egged and shaving creamed on Mischief Night a few years ago by the 30-plus-year-old yahoo down the street because he was angry at me for not having driven down our child-heavy residential street fast enough for him a few days before.

How fucking sad is that?
